What we do
Spot Check, operated by Seriva Health LLC, is a paperwork coordination service. We build a dated plan from published government requirements, communicate with your veterinary clinic on your behalf, prepare information for the health certificate, track the USDA APHIS endorsement and send you reminders.
What we do not do
We do not provide veterinary, medical or legal advice. We do not examine animals, administer vaccines, sign certificates, endorse documents or make entry decisions. Your USDA-accredited veterinarian is responsible for examinations, treatments and certificates. USDA APHIS is responsible for endorsement. The destination authority decides whether your pet may enter, and your airline decides whether your pet may fly.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate records, to attend scheduled appointments, to confirm the plan with your veterinarian and airline, and to tell us promptly about any change to your travel dates, route or pet's health.
Rules can change
Government requirements change, sometimes without notice. We check official sources when we build your plan and again before your certificate appointment. We are not responsible for changes published after our last check or for requirements that an official source does not disclose.
Fees and refunds
Our fee covers coordination only. Veterinary, laboratory, government, airline and quarantine fees are paid directly to those providers. If we cannot build a compliant plan for your requested travel date, we will tell you the earliest date that works, and you may cancel for a full refund. You may also cancel for a full refund before we contact your clinic. After that, refunds are at our discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fee you paid us for the affected trip. We are not liable for denied boarding, denied entry, quarantine costs, missed flights or other indirect losses.
Privacy
We use your information only to deliver the service and to send you reminders about your trip. We share it with your veterinary clinic and, where needed, with government agencies or your airline to complete your paperwork. We do not sell your information. The privacy policy describes this in full.
