Changes to your trip

Tell us right away if your travel date, route or pet's health changes. Some steps, such as a rabies blood test, must happen months before arrival, so a new date can change the plan. We send you the revised plan and tell your vet clinic.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel for a full refund before we contact your veterinary clinic. If we cannot build a plan that meets the official rules for your travel date, we tell you the earliest date that works, and you can cancel for a full refund at that point as well. The terms cover the remaining cases.

Deleting your information

Email us from the address you ordered with and ask us to delete your records. We delete them within 30 days, except for any part the law requires us to keep. The privacy policy lists what we hold and for how long.

Spot Check in Claude

The Spot Check connector needs no account or sign-in. Add it from the Claude connector directory, or open Settings in Claude, choose Connectors, select Add custom connector and paste https://spotcheck.pet/mcp.

Ask Claude about moving a dog or cat abroad, for example "What does my dog need to fly to Tokyo in May?" or "Can my cat move to London by February 1?" Claude shows a plan card with every required step dated backward from your arrival, who does each step and a link to the official source. If your date is too soon, the card says which step makes it impossible and gives the earliest arrival that works. Tell Claude the dates of any microchip, rabies vaccine or blood test your pet already has, and the plan counts them.

To have Spot Check run the plan, select Order this plan on the card and enter your name and email, or ask Claude to place the order. Placing an order sends your name, email, pet and trip details to Spot Check. Nothing is charged when you order. We email you within one business day to confirm the plan and send an invoice.

The connector has four tools. Plan a pet trip builds the dated plan and the card. Destination requirements returns the full rule text for one destination. List destinations lists the 17 destinations we cover and the date each was last checked. Start a Spot Check order places the order. A second order for the same email, pet, destination and arrival date within 7 days returns the first order instead of creating another.

If the plan card does not appear, start a new chat and ask again. If it still does not appear, email us the destination, your pet's species and the arrival date, and we will send the plan by email.

Rule changes

Every step in a Spot Check plan cites an official government source. If you see that a source has changed a requirement, email us the link. We recheck every destination's sources before each certificate visit.
